Equal Opportunities
The New Economy Organisers Network is absolutely committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone regardless of their background. We value diversity and lived experience, and acknowledge the under-representation of people from certain backgrounds both within our community and wider campaigning movements. We are determined to correct this and through our power and privilege work are actively working to tackle this.
In order to ensure we are doing all we can to encourage applications for people of all backgrounds; we need to collect monitoring data. Questions are optional and your answers will be treated confidentially.
NEON needs to collect and use certain types of information about the individuals who come into contact with us in order to carry on our work. This personal information is collected and dealt with appropriately -whether it is collected on paper, stored in a computer database, or recorded on other material- and there are safeguards to ensure this under the Data Protection Act 1998; all data we collect is kept under UK laws.
